Accomplishments for small businesses, minority businesses, HUBZone, women-owned businesses and disabled veteran business by NaFCA management

• Advocated for the legislation to support the small business subcontracting program.
• Lead advocacy efforts for the implementation of liquidated damages to be included in the subcontracting legislation.
• Lead advocacy efforts for the creation of the development of the HUB Zone program.
• Lead advocacy efforts for the withdrawal by GSA of the initial GSA Alliant contract strategy that required small businesses to compete directly with large clients. 
• Lead advocacy efforts for the withdrawal by the SBA of the proposed small business size standard policy in 2004.
• Promoted the establishment of a government-wide identification database to be used to identify small businesses and minority businesses throughout the United States. 
• Contributed significant advocacy efforts to the initiation of the U.S. Department of Transportation Women's Business programs.
• Successfully advocated for the change of small business set aside Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to ensure fair and reasonable competition. Latest success is the U.S. Air Force Consolidated Acquisition of Professional Services (CAPS) program.
• Lead the promotion of anti-bundling policies
• Significant advocacy effort contributions to the start up of the Minority Business Development Agency.
• Lead the establishment of trade associations to support the small business and the minority business community.
• Significant involvement in the advocacy of the start up and expansion of the 8(a) program and protecting the 8(a) program when serious challenges arose against it.
